Noble Vice is a one-day, all-inclusive boutique wine and food experience that takes a dynamic new approach. 6 iconic chefs and 30 hand-picked winemakers come together to create an unrivalled tasting experience. Live and engaging, a day of liberated exploration into the noble vices of food and wine. With the growing bounty being conceived and encouraged from the cellars, markets and kitchens of the Cape, it has become essential for a showcase and a meeting point to be arranged - a gathering of the curious and the enlightened to taste and test the fruits of the harvest.

Each winemaker offers tastings of their essential selection, while each chef creates a single menu course in his signature style - paying homage to the terroir and tastes of the Western Cape.

Following last year’s inaugural event, this year promises some enticing additions to the offering. The list of wine producers represent a gathering that is the first of its kind. Pioneers of a new movement in wine-making where sustainable, organic or biodynamic practices are reverently carried out with minimal intervention. These are the renegades of the Western Cape’s wine industry.

This year’s food offering showcases the landmark chefs of Cape Town’s current culinary scene - embodying a diverse and dynamic approach to food creation. Working with open fire, pure ingredients and stripped-down technique, a unique dish is created by each master, culminating in a six-course tasting-experience like no other.

A diverse lineup of local musicians offer stellar performances throughout the day, whilst a curated selection of merchants and makers exhibit their wares for perusal and purchase.
